Dwight “Andy” Anderson
Dwight has a Bachelor of Science, from the University of Southern California. Dwight is involved in a number of ventures from real estate to manufacturing. Today his primary focus is Palomar Solar as the C-10 license holder, President, and one of the founders of Palomar Solar.
After a number of years of looking into solar for his own home, the investment finally made sense. However, during the research, he determined there were very few companies who truly understood what they were selling. In fact, the field was so thin that he decided to start Palomar Solar.
Dwight’s diverse background allows him to understand a wide variety of our customer’s needs from the financial rewards to the aesthetic considerations. He insists that Palomar is dedicated to impeccable service, value, and honesty.
Fun Fact about Dwight: Dwight enjoys spending time with his family, especially his beautiful wife Roxanne and his two daughters, Alex and Morgan. He loves boats and enjoys spending time in the desert.
Partner and Director of Sales
Adam is one of the founding partners of Palomar Solar. Adam oversees sales, marketing and is our lead energy consultant. Adam contributes his interest in meeting new people and helping them go solar from his Midwest roots as he is originally from Northern Kentucky.
Prior to joining Palomar Solar, Adam owned A Rizzo Group, a home improvement company that services the Cincinnati, OH Tri-State area. He transitioned the company to his brother before moving to San Diego.
Adam has been helping homeowners one way or the other for over 20 years. He has specifically been in the solar industry the last twelve years and has personally helped over 600 homeowners, businesses and Churches invest in solar. Adam’s most notable customers include Waxie Sanitary Supplies and Goodwill San Diego.
Adam is a frequent guest on local San Diego broadcasting stations, you can catch him on George Chamberlin’s radio show on KOGO 600 and on The Mike Slater Show on KFMB 760. Listen in to hear why George and Mike trust Palomar Solar when it comes to their own home solar installations.
Fun Fact about Adam: Adam enjoys spending his free time with his beautiful wife Katie and their two sons. Adam drove a 31-foot pink RV over 40,000 miles around the country raising cancer awareness. He also prefers to be outdoors fishing and golfing.
Our Administration, led by Reem Ateek & Roxanne Anderson, count on team members Courtney Wilde, Celina Leon, Maria Garzon, Andrew Gonzales and Amanda Lemus to ensure that every project runs smoothly. From preparing the stacks of paperwork for the bureaucracies at the city and utility to ensuring that the plans are ready and the customers are kept apprised of the progress of their project. Due to the fluid nature of our projects, keeping everything in order is quite a task.

Our consultants are led by Adam Rizzo, one of the oldest licensed solar sales reps in Southern California.

Adam Berman is a San Diego native, born and raised in Encinitas, CA. He has been in the construction and solar industry for 5 years and has sold and designed over 500 solar systems in the Southern California area.
Adam has a friendly no pressure approach with his customers and excellent follow through. He will make sure you feel comfortable and in the loop through the entire process.
Fun Fact about Adam: Adam loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s surfing at Swami’s beach in Encinitas or hitting the slopes in Mammoth.
Bowie was born in Poway, CA and has been a San Diegan resident all his life. He has always had a passion for renewable energy and believes in helping individuals explore their unique needs in conjunction with helping his customers gain their energy independence. Bowie brings with him over 5 years of solar experience, specifically in the fields of design and investments. He is also a Certified NABCEP Energy Consultant, which is gold standard for solar accreditations. Bowie firmly believes in taking the time to understand his customers, which in turn allows him to provide each individual with a very detailed and custom analysis.
Fun Fact: Bowie enjoys spending his free time with his wife and three boys. He has a passion for sports and dedicates a lot of his time coaching his sons’ athletic teams. When there is a break between seasons you can find Bowie spending his free time with his family at the beach with a fishing pole.
Erik Zetmeir has been a resident of Hidden Meadows for 9 years and loves his neighborhood. He’s also been a solar homeowner for the past 8 years. He believes in an energy independent community and that it should come at a reasonable price.
As a 5-year veteran of the PV industry and a NABCEP Certified Energy consultant, Erik is uniquely qualified to design your system so that it will produce optimal energy efficiency. He takes pride in providing a low pressure no gimmicks consultation and providing the best-designed systems along with top notch customer service from initial consultation through the installation process and most importantly after you’re installed and the system is turned on.
Fun fact about Erik: He loves spending time with his beautiful wife and their twins and he coaches the Valley Center Hurricanes soccer team.

Sid was born and raised in East County, San Diego. He has been in the Solar Industry for 5 years. He really enjoys working with Home Owners to achieve their goals in energy independence. Sid believes in treating everybody like family and he will be there from the beginning of the Solar process to several years down the road.
FUN Fact about Sid: Sid is a avid golfer. He loves going snowboarding and to Glamis with his twin boys and the beach with his Daughter.

Francisco “Cisco” Cortes
Francisco has worked for Dwight for over 17 years. He is an extremely loyal employee and arguably the hardest working installer. Francisco oversees the installation crews and is the go-to lead when the project presents that extra challenge or merely needs an extra hand.
Fun Fact about Francisco – He enjoys classical music, long walks on the beach with his family and wine tasting.
Anthony was our lead installer and has been part of the team since the beginning. He now oversees the various install crews and is sure to touch your project at least once. He performs most of our inspections and is the resident monitoring expert. Prior to his interest in solar, he spent 9 years working as a Systems Analysts with the DOD. Anthony is extremely hard working and will not cut corners on any job. He treats every installation as if it’s his own home. You will be impressed.
Fun Fact about Anthony – He coached four years of high school football, he enjoys fishing & golfing and spending time with his family, especially his son.
Francisco “Paco” Tinajera
Paco is our floor supervisor, overseeing inventory of all our equipment and shipping and receiving, Most importantly he makes sure the crews are prepared with all they need every morning for each project. Paco has been with Palomar Solar since day one!
Fun Fact about Paco – He has three beautiful children and loves whipping around town on his motorcycle.
