Tools to get started
For existing Palomar Solar and Roofing clients only.
Social media is a great way to reach a large group of people with a minimal amount of effort. Simply posting an image and link can generate hundreds of potential referral leads. That’s a potential $500 per referral in your pocket. Oh my!
To get started, please LIKE and FOLLOW our Palomar Solar page.
- At the top of your Facebook news feed or profile page, click the Photo/Video option below “Create Post”.
- Select the photos you want to upload and click Open or Next.
We have attached some photos of your system to the Your Palomar Solar and Roofing
Flash Drive email. If you have not received this email, please contact our office and we
will send this out to you. Additionally, please feel free to use an image in the Resources section below. - Tag people by hovering over the photo, selecting Tag and then typing their names.
- Don’t forget to tag Palomar Solar. We greatly appreciate the exposure. Plus, your family and friends will see you went with a top-notch installer!
- Say a few words about your project and please mention your solar consultant. If you’d like a description of your system and the equipment used, contact us. We’d be happy to help.
- Choose your audience and click Share. Select Public if you want anyone to see the photo. Otherwise, you can select Friends.

- From the Tweet compose box, click the photo icon to upload a photo from your computer or mobile device.

will send this out to you. You may also use an image provided in the Resources section below. - Once you choose a photo, the image will attach to your Tweet in full size. You can select up to 4 photos to Tweet at once.
- Click on Tag People below the photo to tag Palomar Solar and anyone else you would like.
- Say a few words about your project and please be sure to mention your solar consultant’s name. If you’d like a description of your system and the equipment used, contact us. We’d be happy to help.
- Click Tweet to post.
Sharing on Instagram is easy. Simply upload an image or your installation, or select from the banners in the Resources section below. When you upload, simply tag Palomar Solar and add your comment. That’s it!
Resources
To help you on your referral journey, we’ve created some imagery that can be shared on social media. Simply right click and download the images to your computer. Use the social media instruction from above to post them online with a link to the referral form at www.palomarsolar.com/friends.
Testimonials
If you had a great experience with your solar or roof installation, we encourage you to let us know. We’ll take your testimonial and post it for you on the Palomar Solar and Roofing social media pages. If a potential customer is inspired by your words and references your name, you’ll be eligible for the $500 referral bonus. Additionally, you can simply share the post from the Palomar sites for ease of use on your own site.
